Produce disciplined people for national development - Ameer

Gomoa Potsin (C/R), May 8, GNA - Mulvi Wahab Adam, Ameer and Missionary in charge of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission Ghana, has urged heads of second cycle institutions to ensure that they turn out students who will be useful and not liabilities to the country.

He said the effective promotion of quality education would prevent them from deviating from set values, ensure discipline and produce the desired manpower resource for the development of the nation. In speech read on his behalf at the two-day national conference of heads and managers of Ahmadiyya Educational Institution at Gomoa Potsin, Maulvi Wahab Adam said no matter the level and quality, education without the fear of God would be mirage.

He urged them to train people with good morals who could stand up to be counted and serve their nation for the Mission to feel proud of them.

Maulvi Wahab Adam gave the assurance that the Mission would assist the heads and managers to surmount the problems affecting their work and the institutions and appealed to them to take good care of the assets entrusted to them.

He said Ahmadiyya Mission believed that education without a sense of morality would not benefit the individual and the society and explained that this was the reason why the mission had established various educational institutions from the primary to the tertiary level.
