President John Dramani Mahama has officially sworn in the new members of the Ghana Armed Forces Council.
It will be chaired by the Vice President, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, where she will oversee the military's strategic operations, while providing key advisory support to them.
The ceremony, which took place in the early hours of Monday, March 24, saw following individuals take their oaths of office:
1. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang (Vice President) – Chairperson
2. Dr Edward Omane Boamah – Member
3. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa – Member
4. Mohammed-Mubarak Muntaka – Member
5. Daniel Addo – Member
6. Fuseini Iddrisu – Member
7. Nancy Dakwa Ampofo – Member
