Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Natural Way Herbal Clinic, Professor John Quaye Danyansah Wiafe Akenteng, has added another accolade to his name.

The revered medical herbalist received two awards at the 11th African Health CEOs and Legends Awards 2024 organized by the Health CEOs and Scientists Network in collaboration with Health Legends Foundation Africa.

Beating strong competition from fellow health professionals across the African continent and beyond, Prof Wiafe Akenteng was adjudged as the Best Kidney Specialist of the Year.

His outfit, the Natural Way Herbal Clinic, also won the Best Clinic of the Year, making it two laurels in one night.

Speaking to the media on the sidelines of the event held at the MJ Grand Hotel in Accra on Friday, August 23, Prof Wiafe Akenteng described the award as an encouragement, urging people to prioritize natural medicines.

It may be recalled that this news outlet previously reported in a past publication how he has extensively researched and cured over 3,000 patients of kidney disease since 2012 using purely natural medicines.

Remarkably, some of his cured patients were foreigners, including Europeans and African Americans.

Speaking to ModernGhana News on Thursday, April 25, Dr. Wiafe Akenteng noted that terms like "chronic" are used medically to mislead the public in order to promote the continuous sales of chemical drugs.

He says diseases like Hepatitis B can be cured at his clinic through research-backed natural remedies.

Prof Wiafe Akenteng previously received an honor from George Fox University in Newberg, OR, USA in 2021.

The Rectitude International Mission (RIM) and World Diplomatic Federation (WODIF), a reputable award governing body, recommended the modern-day herbal practitioner to the university’s governing Council.

For this honor, Prof Wiafe Akenteng received a citation signed by Professor Tyler Cuddeford, PT, PhD, Associate Dean, George Fox University, College of Physical Therapy and was bestowed with an honorary Doctor of Medicine degree.
