Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Northern Region, Mohammed Samba has kick-started a media tour in the region to reaffirm the party’s commitment to media freedom and to appreciate the media for its professionalism exhibited since the NPP assumed power.
Mr. Samba popularly known as ‘Chairman Do All’ exhorted the media practitioners in the region to make sure they project President Akufo-Addo and Vice President Dr. Bawumia positively.
According to Chairman Samba, the only way Northerners can thank Nana Addo is to give him another 4 years to complete his manifesto promise.
“Everything is clear that the country and the good people of the north is happier under the current president. Let’s all support his good works.” He said.
Mr Samba was accompanied by Alhaji Alhassan Yakubu Sibdow, regional secretary cum Treasurer, National Deputy Communication Director, Prof Haruna Mohammed, Mr. Yusif Danjumah deputy Secretary, Mr. Sule Salifu regional Communication Director and other communicators in the region.
Chairman Samba brought to light achievement of the ruling party so far and encouraged the media to propagate the good works of the ruling government any time they have the opportunity.
“My tour is to have a cordial relationship between the NPP and the media, for our party the NPP believes the media’s duty is not only to entertain or inform the public but rather to educate them of the flagship program introduce by Nana-Bawumia government.” He told them.
Chairman Samba since assuming as party chair has been able to restore Peace and Unity within the party and urge the media to emulate same by reuniting the good people of the North.
