Prophet Jamson sends condolences to Mills's family

Prophet Nakoa Ansah Jamson, Founder and Leader of Israel King of Jews Church at Dome in Accra, has expressed his condolences to the former first family and the people of the country for the loss of their dear one.

He said he received the message of the death of President Mills with huge shock in the afternoon of Tuesday.

Prophet Nakoa said Ghanaians should not see the demise of the late President as an opportunity to engage in partisan politics but should rather unite us in these trying moments to forge ahead in oneness.

He asked them to act with dignity in this sad moment and allow the Constitution to operate.

The Prophet with the wife by his side could not hold back his tears as he wept in sorrow and anguish as he observed a minute silence for the departed soul of the President.

Prophet Nakoa said the late President had served his purpose on earth and was glad that he had been able to maintain peace and unity among the people.

He commended Mrs Joyce Bamford-Addo, Speaker of Parliament and Mrs Georgina Theodora Wood, the Chief Justice, for their roles in promptly swearing in the Vice President, John Dramani Mahama as the new President of Ghana.

Prophet Nakoa urged politicians, the media and the entire society to be circumspect in their commentaries on the airwaves so that the peace in the country can be sustained.**
