Founder and head pastor of Brighter House Chapel, Prophet Kingsley Okwaah Mensah has indicated that he has started a project called, ‘Feed The Street Project’ which aims to feed and support thousands of people on the street prior to the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown in some part of the country.

Together with his team, they visited and donated food items, products and protective goods to hospitals, transport workers, and orphanages in Madina, Mallam, Dansoman, Sowutuom, Ablekuma, Kasoa, among other communities in aide to help in stopping the spread of the deadly Coronavirus.

According to Prophet Kingsley, “My church and I intend to distribute over 6000 hand sanitizing products, face masks, and other protective items to Ghanaians living on the street. They are people who can't get hold of these things to follow the preventive measures to stay safe in this pandemic season.”

“We would also be feeding over 6000 people on the street, especially to those who can't afford their three square daily meals even tho the plan is to support over 12,000 people with a budget of Ghs400,000.00 in this unfortunate season and we won’t stop supporting the needy even when this pandemic is over,” he added in a press release.

Prophet Kingsley, on his view about the lockdown and it's effects on churches; he noted that he doesn't feel affected in any negative way, rather, he misses the congregation and how they worship together.

“Yet, for everyone to stay safe, it becomes very necessary that everyone abides by the president's instructions on social distance until this pandemic is over,” he said.
