Protecting the nation's interest is my focus-Sinare

The newly appointed ambassador to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia H.E Alhaji Said Sinare has said that he would work diligently to positively protect and project the image of Ghana in Saudi Arabia.

"Ghana is making strides in all fronts and the need to tell the real story to the world especially in Saudi and beyond."

He pointed out the rise and stability of the cedi, the numerous developmental projects scattered across the length and breadth of the country, the current peace and stability that the good people of the country are enjoying as a few of the numerous positive developments taken place in Ghana. "These are the images we need to project and set the record straight. "

Speaking to Radio Gold moments after President John Dramani Mahama presented him with his letter of credence at the flagstaff house recently.

According to the immediate past Ambassador to Egypt H.E he would collaborate with the Saudi Authorities to advance the welfare of Ghanaians in that country.

He indicated his resolve to work assiduously to deepen both bilateral and diplomatic relations between the two countries.

"I will do what I can to increase Saudi investments in Ghana," he said.

He further thanked President John Dramani Mahama for the confidence reposed in him, saying "I won't dissapoint my president and the good people of Ghana. "

It's a call to duty and I am ready to make the necessary sacrifice that would bring honour and dignity to my dear nation Ghana. H.E Alhaji Sinare worked so hard to win the admiration of Ghanaians and other nationals while Ambassador to Egypt.

"My doors are always opened 24/7 and Ghanaians living in Saudi Arabia and beyond who will seek assistance or want to see me are always welcome," he concluded
