The Event Vendors Association of Ghana has called for a collaborative effort between event organizers and their clients in the wake of the ban on all social gatherings.
As part of measures to control the spread of the coronavirus, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo announced a ban on all forms of gatherings with an attendance of twenty-five or more.
This has culminated in the cancellation and postponement of events which were scheduled to take place within the four-week period announced by the government.
The association in a statement in line the government's directive, it has postponed all events which dates fall within the period
EVAG also is urging its members to deliberate with their clients on the postponement of the events and agree a deal that benefits all parties.
It advised its members to adhere to the directive by the government and also practice the various preventive measures announced by the health expert.
