The public has been warned against brutalising and threatening Policemen as culprits will be dealt with severely. Inspector David Eklu of the Police Public Relations Directorate, who gave the warning said such acts discourage the Police from performing their duties. He reminded Ghanaians that it is against the law to attack or threaten a peace officer adding that such acts pose a danger to the society. He advised the public not to see the Police as an enemy but instead as a friend and protector of humanity to ensure peace and progress. . Inspector Eklu condemned attacks on Policemen and said the Police will do well to ensure that Ghana remains a peaceful country. GRi
