The police have cautioned the public against misinformation regarding the conflict between the youth and the elderly in Pusiga, located in the Upper East Region, which led to the destruction of property.

The police stated that any misinformation could incite fear and panic among the populace.

A police brief indicated that initial investigations suggest the destruction resulted from a misunderstanding between the youth and the elderly of the community, not from political rivalry as a viral video misleading the public has claimed.

The brief also mentioned that investigations are ongoing to resolve the issue and to apprehend the individuals responsible for disseminating the alleged false viral video.
