The managing director of paramount distilleries and former deputy minister of trade and industry in the National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration, Mr. Peter Wiafe-Pepera has appealed to President J.A. Kufuor to strive to constitute a team of ministers capable enough to carry his vision through his second term in office.
He suggested that in putting together his team, President Kufuor should take due cognizance of the fact that if his legacy was to be written in letters of gold, then he should strictly enforce his policy to zero tolerance for corruption during ?positive change chapter two?.
Extending a congratulatory message to the President for winning the December 7 election, Mr. Wiafe-Pepera who is now a staunch New Patriotic Party (NPP) member, said the election results were closer than what many people had thought.
This, he noted, called for hard work from the ministers to be appointed by the President to assist him push his programmes through for the next four years so that the NPP would register a stronger presence in the 2008 elections.
