RE: Tobinco flees debate in Anyaa Sowutuom constituency

Emmanuel Tobbin, also known as Tobinco Emmanuel Tobbin, also known as Tobinco

My attention has been drawn to a false and misleading publication with the above headline by GhanaWeb dated Friday, August 16, 2024, which has subsequently been shared on various social media platforms.

I wish to admonish constituents of Anyaa Sowutuom and, by extension, Ghanaians to disregard this NDC-sponsored publication against Elder Emmanuel Tobbin.

This has been the modus operandi of the NDC and their cohorts to spread propaganda because of their lack of message and failed campaign in the constituency.

The good people of Anyaa Sowutuom are above propaganda and falsehood. Anyaa Sowutuom needs an accomplished entrepreneur, a businessman, and a philanthropist.

A man who has devoted over three decades of his life to serving the constituents through the construction of bridges, the building of schools, giving scholarships, providing employment opportunities, interest-free loans, and startup capital for young entrepreneurs even before becoming the parliamentary candidate.

The constituents of Anyaa Sowutuom need a leader who can lobby for infrastructural needs as well as develop human resources for employment and future entrepreneurs.

Elder Emmanuel Tobbin is the man the constituency needs.

To set the record straight, TV3 never came to the constituency to organize a debate between parliamentary candidates but to interview the people about their concerns and expectations, and this can be observed in most of the constituencies TV3 has visited.

So as to how one can conclude that Mr. Tobbin decided to run away from a debate, it makes me wonder what their motivation could be.

Unlike the presidential candidate of the NDC, who has been running away at the mention of debate, Elder Tobbin is always and ever ready to debate on issues because the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has achieved a lot for Ghanaians and, for that matter, constituents of Anyaa Sowutuom; hence, this publication should be discarded.

Let me also use this opportunity to admonish the media to stick with the ethics of their profession by seeking the opinions of the other party to give a balanced and objective reportage.

Elder Emmanuel Tobbin and the campaign team remain focused on our issue-based campaign.
