Tema, Jan 05, GNA –The management of Rabito Hospital has opened the health facility’s second branch in Tema.
The Tema Community 11 branch, a partnership between Rabito Health Services (RHS) and Golden Palm Investments Ghana Limited (GPI), is located at the Pentecost Church Office Complex, opposite the Women’s Hospital.
. This brings to 27 the number of branches of the Rabito Health Facility throughout the country, and the second in Tema, 10 years after the establishment of the Community Two branch.
Speaking at the function, Professor Edmund Delle, Founder of the RHS, said as a leading private health care provider in Ghana and the Africa sub-Saharan region, RHS would continue to provide the ordinary Ghanaian with health needs at affordable but competitive charges.
Prof Delle, a dermatologist, stressed the need for Ghanaians to take proper care of their skins, in order not to contract diseases, since it was a very important organ of the body.
Mrs Marian Tackie, an official of the Ministry of Health, who represented the Chief Director of the Ministry, said the Ministry appreciated the complimentary role of the private sector in the nation’s quest for quality health service delivery.
Mrs Tackie pointed out that since health was not only curative but was also preventive and rehabilitative, the MOH would continue to support initiatives from private health service providers, in order to build a healthy nation.
Mr Ryu Goto, a Japanese partner/investor of GPI, an Africa-focused investment company with venture capital and private equity interests in agribusiness, healthcare, real estate, and financial services, said the existing cordial relationship between his country and Ghana dates back to the last five decades.
Mr Sangu Delle, Chief Executive Officer of GPI, said it was committed to socially responsible investments and the economic development of the African continent.
