Ramadan: NDC wishes Muslims well

The National Democratic Congress, NDC, extends greetings and best wishes to all Muslims in Ghana on the occasion of the Ramadan.

This is a period to seek God’s forgiveness, purification and sanctification and, we asked for Allah’s blessings and guidance to enable our Muslim brothers and sisters endure the challenges associated with fasting.

The benefits accruing from this spiritual exercise which constitutes a vital component on the Muslim calendar is enormous, and it is the opinion and expectation of the NDC that our Muslim brothers and sisters would end the fast spiritually developed for an encounter with Allah.

The NDC reiterates that we share with our brothers and sisters the desire and zeal to fast and pray not for any selfish cause, but for peace, stability and spiritual development of mankind.

The NDC, therefore, urges all Ghanaians to pray for Muslims in this fasting moment for God’s strength and guidance to ensure a successful Ramadan.
