Leading automobile company Rana Motors is celebrating the 30th anniversary of its iconic Kia Sportage models.

This celebration highlights the company's long-standing partnership with Kia and its significant impact on the automotive market, particularly in Ghana.

Each of the 30 Kia Sportages feature customisations or limited-edition details to commemorate the milestone. These special editions come with exclusive design features, upgraded technology, and personalised finishes to appeal to both new and loyal customers.

Speaking at the unveiling on October 16, 2024 in Accra, Chief Operating Officer of Rana Motors, Kassem Odaymat expressed optimism that the 30 unique models have been built for reliability, stylish design, and advanced features, making them a popular choice in the SUV market.

He mentioned that the 30th-anniversary models emphasise these qualities, along with added exclusivity to celebrate the legacy of Rana Motors in the automotive industry.

“The latest generation of Sportage will raise the future while continuing to last through the present with a full redesign. The all-new Sportage we have today has become synonymous with dependability and innovation. The 2023 Sportage stands tall as a veteran with 30 years of exploration behind it, a legacy Rana Motors is proud to be associated with,” Kassem Odaymat said.

The Chief Operating Officer reaffirmed the company’s commitment to delivering superior models in the automotive industry while creating job opportunities to enhance local content and knowledge transfer.
