Over the weekend social media was awash with a visuals of what could pass for a castle said to be a building belonging to Former President John Dramani Mahama located in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The mansion with an interior gold design had several social media users tongue-lashing Ghana’s Former President and making all manner of disparaging remarks about him amidst denials from the ‘Go4JM’ campaign team the building was not his.

MyNewsGh.com has gathered that the house is not in Dubai after all as social media sought to suggest but rather in Nigeria belonging to Orange Drugs Boss, Tony Ezenna who recently launched it at In Ikoyi, Lagos.

Sources say the exquisite castle is reportedly located at Bourdillon road in the Ikoyi area of Lagos and during its launch last month, Minister of Labour and Productivity, Chris Ngige, Senators; Dino Melaye, Osita Izunaso, Chris Uba and many others, were spotted in Lagos.

Meanwhile, spokesperson for Go4Jm James Agyenim Boateng has denied the claim the structure belongs to the former President.

He stated in a statement posted on his facebook page “Fake news entrepreneurs and detractors of former President John Dramani Mahama have been exposed again for publishing false information borne completely out of their wicked and malicious thoughts.

This time, using particularly WhatsApp, they have extensively spread a video footage of a mansion adorned with golden interiors and murals, and claimed that the said property is located in Dubai, UAE and also that it is owned by the former President.

I wish to categorically deny that claim and to also point out that it is false, baseless and a figment of the authors own maliciously fertile thoughts. Mr Mahama does not own the said mansion.

It is yet another publication of deliberately planned and sustained campaign of disinformation calculated to court public disaffection for Mr Mahama.

To set the records straight, Nigerian media has done extensive publications of the said mansion and its owner.

The said mansion, according to various publications in Nigeria, belongs to Chief Sir Tony Ezennia, (popularly known as Ikenga Akokwa) the chairman of Orange Drugs Nigeria Limited.

The property is located in Ikoyi, Lagos and was outdoored just recently.

Kindly disregard the false and malicious information widely circulated on WhatsApp and other social media platforms in respect of this mansion. Mr Mahama knows nothing about it
