The Statesman

"NDC Gurus in adultery cross-fire" says the statesman in a front- page screamer.

The statesman says an Accra High court has begun hearing a case in which Mr. Eddie H. Plange, a leading NDC member, has been accused of adultery in a marriage case between Mr. David Anim-Addo, a pharmacist and his wife, Molly, chairperson of the National Council on Women and Development (NCWD).

The paper says Mrs. Molly Anim-Addo who is also the Ayawaso West-Wuogon NDC propaganda secretary and a patron of the 31st December Women's movement, is appealing for the dissolution of the marriage contracted on September 12, 1985, custody of their 15-year-old daughter, 50 percent share of their matrimonial home and a lump sum settlement.

According to the statesman, Mrs. Anim-Addo, formerly Mrs. Molly Caesar, was in 1980 thrown out of her matrimonial home by the then Sport Council chief Administrator, Mr. Kate Caesar with whom she had three children, on the grounds of adultery.

The paper says, Mr. Anim-Addo, 59, President of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ghana, who is accusing his 55-year-old wife of adulterous relations with 49-year-old divorcee, Mr. Eddie Plange, agrees to the dissolution of the marriage, but wants custody of their daughter, compensation from Molly and sole ownership of the house located on Mensah Wood street East Legon, Accra.
