The Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Nii Ashie Moore, has called on party members to remain vigilant and report any suspected unlawful activities in connection with infiltration of government institutions to appropriate authorities.

He pointed out the importance of following due process, urging party members to avoid taking matters into their own hands.

Ashie Moore also warned against engaging in revengeful actions that could undermine the credibility of their complaints.

In a video shared on X by CITI FM, Ashie Moore said, “Let me use this opportunity to encourage members of our party in this region to be vigilant, rather to make sure that they will report such unlawful activities to me as a regional chairman or to the appropriate authorities at the regional police command for them to take a lawful action rather than to go there and to be accused of that things that we're complaining of is what we've come to massively engage in."

The NDC chairman also addressed allegations that certain individuals suspected to be members of the NDC were engaging in illegal operations at the Tema Harbor, government establishments and warehouses, while he was waiting for some party faithfuls at the airport.

“Currently, I’m at the airport to welcome some NDC faithful... But the allegation was made that they were at Tema harbour and some government establishment and some warehouse. That was the allegation that was made,” he noted.

Moore also disclosed that he had met with the regional police commander and his team to ensure that state establishments and institutions in the region are adequately protected.

He further assured that law and order will prevail within the next 24 hours.

He said, "Today, I've had a meeting with the regional commander and his team and we've all agreed that they are now going to make sure they protect this state establishments and institutions. So, I can promise you that within 24 hours, everything will become a law and order prevail within the region."
