The Representation of the People’s Amendment Law (ROPAL) will be implemented under the competent and efficient Administration of Nana Addo Dankwa
Akufo-Addo, Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Hon. Titus Glover, Member of Parliament for Tema East, has assured Ghanaians in the Diaspora.
He was answering a question about ROPAL at a Town Hall Meeting held on Sunday, August 16, 2015, at the Ghanaian Presbyterian Church, Toronto, Canada,
hosted by the Toronto Chapter of the NPP.
According to Hon. Glover, this law was passed under the government of former President John Agyekum Kufuor and saw no justification for the delay or
non-implementation of the law.
He said Ghanaians in the Diaspora contribute a lot towards the economy of Ghana and that the Diasporas deserve to be afforded the opportunity to exercise their
franchise in every major election or referendum.
Hon Glover appealed to the people to impress upon their people in Ghana to vote for Nana Akufo-Addo for a positive change in Ghana for which every Ghanaian can travel
to and from Ghana.
He told the Ghanaians, who crowded the Ghanaian Presbyterian Church that Nana Akufo-Addo is principled and was not in politics to steal from the coffers of Ghana. Nana
Akufo-Addo is visionary and was determined to revamp the country’s economy, adding that Nana has the qualitative leadership skills to rescue our country from the NDC.
