An NPP Parliamentary aspirant for Akuapem South constituency, Eric Samuel Annor Mensah, has supported the people of Nkunkrom, near Aburi, with a source of clean and safe drinking water, as a demonstration of his commitment to help address the challenges within the constituency.

The mechanized borehole project estimated to cost GH¢11,000 was constructed to serve the entire community. The water project was undertaken as part of his promise made to the community leaders during his on-going campaign tour to identify the specific challenges of the various communities in Akuapem South.

The development has brought relief and moments of joy as the entire community rushed to the project site to witness the work to provide them with a safe source of drinking water and for other activities.

The Nkunkrom community hitherto has long been challenged with a safe source of drinking water as the only source of water, a small stream along their farmlands is often invaded by some livestock. The gesture by the aspiring candidate will now bring a huge improvement since the community members will not have to walk long distance to fetch water.

The Assemblymember of the community, Alex Danquah and the Odikro, Opanyin Asare expressed their gratitude to the young businessman for showing leadership and support to alleviate their plight.

The NPP Parliamentary hopeful, Mr. Eric Annor Mensah also thanked the community leaders for their commitment, hard work, and sacrifice that ensured the successful completion of the project.

The successful entrepreneur is seeking to lead the people as a member of Parliament, and in his quest to become MP on ticket of NPP has promised among other things to provide educational scholarship for delegates, expand the planting for food and job policy for delegates and establish transport business to support activities of delegates at the polling station.
