Families of the three kidnapped Takoradi girls say they are not the least surprised that the Police in their investigation to locate the missing girls retrieved human skeletons at Kansawrodo.

Speaking to Akwasi Nsiah on Kasapa News, Spokesperson for the three families Michael Grant Hayford said the discovery of the skeletons should not be news as that particular area of Kasawrodo was previously a cemetery.

“Let me tell you today, the Anaji-Kansawrodo road used to be a cemetery and when the road was being constructed the cemetery was destroyed and buried bodies removed. So several people went there and dug sand and carted them to their homes as filling. So when it comes to Nkroful-Kansawrodo area when you’re looking for skeletons you’ll find plenty there, skeletons are not scars there at all. So we believe the skeletons found by the Police are not that of our daughters and sisters.

He added: “If it is skeletons the police are looking for they should continue searching that area and they will find more bones there. But we are not looking for bones, we are looking for our daughters and sisters.”

The Police Service on Friday 2nd August 2019, confirmed the retrieval of human parts from a septic tank at an uncompleted building previously occupied by Samuel Udotek Wills, the main suspect in the Kidnapping of the three Takoradi girls.

The remains were found after a special police operation.

The Police have indicated that DNA test is to be conducted on the skeletons to establish whether indeed they are that of the kidnapped girls who have gone missing for close to a year.

But the families who have publicly stated that they’ll not cooperate with the police in the DNA tests as they’ve lost confidence in the security agency say they are confident the skeletons are not that of their daughters and sisters.
