The forward is sanguine his side will pick their first maximum three points in their outstanding league game against the new premier league entrants on Wednesday

Wa All Stars frontman Richard Arthur says his outfit will clinch their first victory against Elmina Sharks come tomorrow at the Wa Park.

The current league champions began their title defence with a loss against the Phobians last Sunday having been bested by 1-2 at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Many football pundits and fans believes the Northern Blues will not be able to retain their league title following a run of poor showings in their maiden Caf Champions League campaign having been eliminated at the early stage of the competition.

But the 22-year-old goal poacher maintains that such notions cannot hold as they still remain title hopefuls in the ongoing top-flight and that fans should continue rallying behind them in their quest to get hold of their league diadem.

''We're confident that victory will be on our side when we play Elmina Sharks in our outstanding league fixture on Wednesday. I'm very certain that we'll win the game and appease the fans,'' he told Kumasi-based Agyenkwa FM

''We want the fans to remain calm and continue supporting us. We still have some outstanding matches to play and that we're taken game after game and with a different tactical approach in each match,''

They [Club Supporters] must still harbour the trust they have in us as they did last season and surely we shall repay them with the same success we had last term,''

''There's a doubt that we can't defend our title, but I don't see it happening that way. We just want the fans to continue throwing their weight behind us and we shall get the job done.''
