Robbers bolt with 35 million cedis worth of goods

Kumasi, Oct 22, GNA - A gang of armed robbers on Sunday night broke into a store at Atonsu-Agogo in the Kumasi metropolis and stole goods worth over 35 million cedis.

Narrating the robbery to the Ghana News Agency Mr Kwame Owusu, the owner of the shop, said the robbers forced the door of the container shop open and stole the goods.

They took away large quantities of assorted materials, including lace and "Sika Prints." The owner therefore appealed to the public to assist in tracking down the robbers.

When the Asokwa police were contacted they confirmed the story and said investigations are going on.
