Accra, May 27, GNA - The Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) has restored the Dealer's Licence of Sterling Securities Limited with effect from May 27, a statement from the Commission said on Friday. Sterling Securities is the second of the three suspended Brokerage firms to have its licence reinstated. The other was Databank Brokerage Services Limited.
SEC suspended the Dealer's Licence of three companies, including Capital Alliance, after they failed to submit their Financial Audited Statements for 2004 within the specified 90 days in line with the SEC Regulations, LI 1728 Regulation 33.
The three companies were also barred from engaging in any securities transactions until further notice.
