Cape Coast, July 5, GNA - The Central Regional Director of Education, Mrs Justina Torjagbo, on Monday warned Senior Secondary School Certificate Examinations (SSSCE) candidates in the Region against examination malpractices.
She reminded the candidates that that they could be banned from writing the SSSCE for three years if they were caught cheating. Mrs Torjagbor, who was speaking in an interview with the GNA at Cape Coast, urged the invigilators, to be alert to enable them to prevent any examination malpractices.
She said in all, 51 schools made up of 49 public and two private schools were taking part in the examinations in the Region. Mrs Torjagbor wished the candidates well and urged them to work hard to enable them pass their examinations once and for all. When the GNA visited some of the examination centres, candidates were busy taking the first paper- Oral English.
