Former Military Officer, Captain Rtd. Nkrabea Effah Darteh has tasked the military hierarchy to sack the military officer who was heard in a video appealing to President Akufo-Addo not to support the building of the new Parliamentary chamber.

The officer whose name is not known described calls for the construction of a new chamber as selfish on the part of Parliamentarians.

But the former Deputy Minister for Local Government under ex-President Kufuor’s administration has called on the Military Hierarchy to sack the young military officer for violating the ethics of being a military officer.

“If you are a military officer you don’t have to engage in politics if you want to do that you need to resign. What the military officer did was wrong it is against the ethics of the profession and he needs to be sacked from the military service immediately to serve as a deterrent to others in the military service,’Nkrabea Effah Darteh exclusively told Kwame Tutu on Anopa Nkomo on Accra based Kingdom FM 107.7

L/Cpl. Wassa, according to earlier reports, has been picked up and kept in a guardroom and is likely to spend about a month in detention in accordance with military regulations.
