The sacked Managing Director of the Bulk Oil Transportation Company (BOST), Alfred Obeng seems to have found his voice since his dismissal

According to him, the former Energy Minister Boakye Agyarko and the BOST Board Chairman who masterminded his dismissal are being dealt with by God because they touched ‘God’s anointed’

Mr. Obeng who was speaking at a church Service at Sefwi in the Western Region said his dismissal was not a disgrace compared to what the former Minister and the Board Chairman have gone through are still going through.

He was grateful to the congregation for their continued cry onto God to speak on his (Alfred Obeng) behalf when the issue of his dismissal came up.

In his estimation, it is the prayers and cry of the church members that culminated in the woes of the former energy minister and the board chairman who has been cited in the raging five banks collapse issue.

Mr Obeng it would be recalled was sacked by President Akufo-Addo in June 2018 along with the bosses of the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority, the Korlebu Teaching Hospital and The Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA).

Mr Obeng has been dogged by one controversy after another since he assumed office as Managing Director of BOST in January last year.

Energy Think tank IES raised red flags over his sale of contaminated fuel under dubious circumstances to unlicensed companies Movenpinaa and Zupp Oil, followed another controversy over sale of Crude Oil at discount prices raised by COPEC, which matter is before Special Prosecutor, Martin Amidu.
