Sammy Crabbe Denies Being Beaten

The Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Mr. Sammy Crabbe, has denied allegations he was nearly beaten for embezzling the Party’s money. Mr. Crabbe was speaking in an interview with Peace FM in reaction to the New Punch newspaper story that he was attacked by Party faithfuls around the “I walk alone” hotel in Ashaiman.

The "newspaper story is false, they are all lies - I don’t understand why a news reporter would write such a false story”, he added. He said when he saw the story, he called the reporter to come and explain where he got such false information from, but he refused to come - claiming he is busy and will try and see him later in the day.

Mr. crabbe admitted going to Ashaiman but said nothing of the sort happened. “Yes I went to Ashaiman, because I was touring the whole constituencies in the Greater Accra Region with my regional executives to find solutions to why we lost the elections - so we stopped at Ashaiman for a discussion since it is one of our constituencies - everything went on peacefully. Nobody touched us or accused me, so why such a false story”. The constituency Chairmen, Mr. Donkor and Mr. Kpodo are my witnesses and with their help, I will get to the bottom of this matter in other to save my image and that of the Party, Mr. Crabbed said
