During his campaign tour in the Greater Accra region, the leader of the New Force, Nana Kwame Bediako, visited Madina, Circle, and Tiptoe Lane on June 28, 2024, to garner support ahead of the 2024 elections.

The day 4 tour in the capital city saw a warm reception, with many youths personally confronting him to share their grievances.

At Tiptoe Lane, Nana Kwame Bediako interacted with traders, spreading his message of hope.

He encouraged the youth to vote for him, presenting himself as the saviour who would alleviate the economic challenges facing Ghanaians.

He declared that the power shift was inevitable adding, “The youth are many, and the power has begun. It is a new revolution. Whether you like it or not, we are taking power. This is the time, I want to let you understand that I know your plights, so I am coming to bring you a new economic freedom,” he said.

A particularly vocal young lady in Madina called on Bediako to rescue the country from economic hardship.

She highlighted that due to the economic difficulties caused by both the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the previous National Democratic Congress’s (NDC) administration, women have turned to prostitution.

“NPP and NDC have been ruling the country for a long time and misusing our money. Those in the villages should vote for Nana Kwame Bediako because when he comes to power, he will change things in the country for us.

“Someone promised one dam, one factory, but he didn’t do anything, and the dumsor is also back now.

“He said he will make sure Ghana develops, and we have to listen to him so that we can vote for him because we are tired of NPP and NDC,” she said in an interview with the media.

She continued “Now all young girls are into hookups. Some are working but still, they are in the hookup business because things are hard in the country.

“We are suffering, we take care of our parents and have other responsibilities as well.

“So, we have to vote for Nana Kwame to be the president. He is a very educated and rich person,” she added.

The campaign event attracted a large crowd in their bid to support the New Force Movement
