Save more with the banks -Manager

New Edubiase (Ash), May 19, GNA- Mr Emmanuel Boakye-Yiadom, Supervising Manager of the Atobiase Area Rural Bank, has told Ghanaians that time has come for them to cut down expenditure on their lifestyles save more with the banks.

He pointed out that savings was the best way through which Ghanaians could build a better future for themselves and their families. Addressing the Adansi East branch of the Basic Schools Headteachers Association at New Edubiase, Mr Boakye-Yiadom said there was no substitute for savings and that the developed countries have reached where they are now through savings.

He said it was a matter of regret to see some workers at the end of every month collecting their salaries without leaving anything in their bank accounts. He explained that the main aim of the establishing rural banks was to assist the communities in which the banks are situated through savings.

Mr Boakye-Yiadom commended ARB Apex Bank for introducing the money transfer among the rural and community banks and said it was a safe way of getting money in any corner of the country.
