Sawumia Bawumia interacts with foreigners, market women

Takoradi Nov. 4, GNA - Mrs Samira Bawumia, wife of Mahamudu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential running mate, has asked foreigners not to foment trouble while doing their businesses in the country.

Interacting with foreigners engaged in currency business at the black Market at Takoradi on Monday, Mrs Bawumia urged them to work in line with the policies of the government. Mrs Bawumia said the economic performance of the government has positively impacted on the average Ghanaian and foreigners in the Country.

She said the continuation of these policies would further enhance and improve the standard of living of the people. She said the Party would not drive away foreigners when it is returned to power as it was being alleged by its opponents. Mrs Bawumia who was in the company of Mr Gabby Okyere Darko, Executive Director of Danquah Busia Institute, Kobina Okyere Darko- Mensah, NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Takoradi, Nana Owusu Ankomah Western Regional Chairman of NPP and Mr Amino Onasis, the Regional Youth Organizer also visited the Takoradi Market.

Mr Onasis said the NDC were constantly trying to throw dust into the eyes of the people and misinforming them about the NPP. He said the NPP Government has good relationship with people living in Zongo Communities, adding that, some government officials have their roots in those communities.
