Nsuta (Brong Ahafo Region), 21 Oct. School authorities have been advised not to encourage food sellers without medical certificates to sell to school children. Mr. Felix Benson Yeboah, Techiman district environmental health officer said frequent illness among school children in the area could be attributed to the unhygienic conditions under which such foods are prepared and sold. Speaking at a health forum at Nsuta, near Techiman, he alleged that most food sellers are medically unfit apart from the fact that they also lack knowledge about nutrition. Mr. Yeboah warned the people against polluting the environment and indiscriminate disposal of solid waste and called for the provision of toilets facilities and refuse dumps. Mr. Alfred Becho (ed correct), Nsuta education circuit supervisor advised the people to maintain clean environments.
