The President of the Republic of Ghana H.E John Dramani Mahama says his administration has fully equipped the country's security agencies to discharge their duties effectively.
Speaking at his last State of the Nation Address in Parliament on Thursday, President Mahama mentioned that his administration resolved the issue of logistics and equipment which did not allow them to fulfill their constitutional mandate.
“Our security forces were severely challenged when it came to logistics and equipment to fulfill their constitutional mandate. Today, I can report with pride that vehicles, riot control equipment, aircraft, helicopters, fire tenders make up a few of the components of the investments we have made in our security services,” he said.
According to the President, vehicles for judges and completion of the court complex have created a better atmosphere for the dispensation of justice.
