Controversy is growing over whether or not the whites that settled within inches of the podium when President Mahama was delivering his speech during the NDC’s campaign launch in Cape Coast were from ‘heaven’.

Kasapa FM’s Maame Broni took these images of some beautiful ladies from the group Doves for Mahama holding on to the doves ahead of the subsequent release.

Whites doves settling on president Mahama has become a known feature in the last few years of his presidency. Sunday’s act, appear not to be coordinated well, social media commentary think so.

The governing National Democratic Congress Sunday launched its 2016 campaign with a well attended event at the newly built Cape Coast stadium in the Central Region.

Thousands of party members graced the launch, which saw key executives that mattered in the party in attendance.

Sunday’s launch also means John Dramani Mahama officially leads the party into the 2016 elections.

In a related development, the party has announced it will be ready to launch its manifesto for the 2016 elections in two weeks’ time.

General Secretary of the party Johnson Asiedu Nketsiah made the announcement at the launch of its campaign in Cape coast on Sunday.

The manifesto launch in Sunyani he says falls in line with the party’s long-standing tradition.

The NDC Sunday held a launch of its campaign for the 2016 elections at the new Cape Coast stadium.

The occasion brought together over 68,000 members of the umbrella family to lend their support as they seek to win political power for a third time.
