Three different entities on Friday 14 July donated two incubators, five patient monitors and two portable ultrasound machines to support the Save-A-Child, Save-A-Mother campaign project at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital spearheaded by First Lady Mrs Rebecca Akufo-Addo.

The Kokrokoo Charity, led by ace broadcaster Kwame Sefa Kayi, donated two incubators worth $20,000.

The multiple award-winning broadcaster believes the incubators will help save more lives.

To add to that, a delegation from Life Care Technology, led by its General Manager Bishoy Foaud, also donated five patient monitors to help check vital signs with regards to the health conditions of patients.

Lastly, Mindray Company also presented two portable ultrasound machines towards the project.

The Save-A-Child, Save-A-Mother campaign, an initiative of Mrs Akufo-Addo’s, is meant to raise funds for the construction of a new maternity and mother and baby unit for the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital to help reduce congestion and bring down maternal mortality figures.
