Sell The Castle - Kwesi Pratt

A leading member of the Committee for Joint Action (CJA), Mr. Kwesi Pratt Jnr, has stated emphatically that, the government should sell the Osu Castle Office of the President – rather than Ghana Telecom (GT).

Addressing a minimal crowd in front of the Parliament House, where the demonstration took place, Mr. Pratt reiterated that the Vodafone deal stinks to the highest level and revealed that the British company owes more than the indebted Ghana Telecom (GT). He further affirmed that the sale of GT proves that Kufuor and the NPP government are inefficient and incompetent and added that the sale of GT does not make any sense to him and other members of the committee. Mr. Pratt questioned the kind of legacy the NPP has left behind and indicated that the CJA will continue to demonstrate in front of Parliament House when Members of Parliament resit until the sale of GT has been abandoned.
