One of Ghana's topmost first cycle institutions, Seven Great Princes Academy is set to celebrate Gwendolyne Brown, a former student of the school.
The celebration is being necessitated by the exploits of Gwendolyne, who is blazing the trail in academia in the UK.
She emerged tops in English Literature Advance Subsidiary Level, UK, and according to officials of the school, her achievement; acting as a worthy ambassador for Ghana is worth celebrating.
As a result, a comprehensive program has been rolled out for the celebration, which includes a visit to the Presidency.
She is expected to arrive in the country from the UK next month.
She will later visit some high profile tertiary institutions in the country- the University of Ghana, University of Cape Coast, UPSA as well as visit some media houses to share her experience with the public.
Her arrival also coincides with her Alma mater's academic week celebration scheduled for June 25 to July 1.
The school's staff secretary, John Kojo Lukas said in an interview that " Gwendolyne's achievement is unprecedented so management thought it prudent to celebrate her achievement; it is for Ghana, the school and herself.
"We believe her visit will further boost the academic morale of the school that has established itself as a leader in BECE.
" We at Seven Great have always believed that if you fail to give your ward quality education in their youthful days, they lose their past and will remain dead to the future.
" We are the only school in the country which has produced a Ghanaian to score 100% in English Literature at the Advance Subsidiary Level in UK," said...
