A fire engine belonging to Kade Fire Station in the Eastern Region was on Sunday involved in an accident.
The crash occurred while fire officers were responding to an emergency.
It is unclear what caused the accident.
According to a statement issued by the Fire Service, “Seven (7) crew members were injured, while one (1) escaped unhurt.”
The injured are currently receiving treatment at the St Dominic’s Hospital at Akwatia and the Kade Government Hospital.
