A popular sex worker in Ashaiman Tutu-line known only as Maame Serwaa was stabbed to death in the early hours of Wednesday 29th June 2011 at Ashaiman Tsinagbe area. After few hours the co-workers said they heard a strong argument ensuing between Maame Serwaa and the young man over payment terms but just a few moments later they heard Serwaa screaming she has been stabbed by the young man and trying to get hold of the guy when she fell and collapsed in cold blood.
The other sex workers claimed they gave the man a hot chase but the nature of the outline of scattered buildings within the sex hub confines aided the guy to escape.
They revealed that the said Serwaa’s boyfriend who comes to sleep with her after working hours (12 am) was called but to only come and meet her lovely sex diva lying in a pool of blood. She was rushed to Tema General Hospital where she was pronounced dead on arrival.
