Shatta Wale's father apologises to Akwasi Aboagye

Charles Nii Armah Mensah Snr, father of dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale has called for calm between his son and Peace FM presenter, Akwasi Aboagye.

Shatta Wale was reportedly irked by comments by Akwasi Aboagye on Entertainment Review last Saturday that he is inconsistent with his decisions and subsequently blasted the presenter.

The artiste has backtracked on his earlier decision not to be part of the annual Ghana Music Awards and its related issues after organisers, Charterhouse hauled him to court over charges of defamation.

But Charles Nii Armah Mensah Snr (Shatta Capo) who was on Thursday’s edition of the show said it was important they settled issues amicably.

“All of us are human beings looking for opportunities. And because people can’t read through opportunism, we have a serious crisis or purpose on this planet. I’m looking at what happened between you and my son, Shatta Wale. I will interpret it as an opportunity for a bond between you and Shatta…” he said.
