An unexpected shortage of campaign info-materials designed for “JM Road Show” forced the Organisers to withdraw their campaigners from the streets of Accra, long before the planned deadline.

The young men and women who had been positioned at various intersections around Kawukudi, 37, El-Wak and the Airport for the Road Show and were busily selling the President to the road users, had their day activity cut short by the Organisers, with the explanation that there were no extra info materials to supply.

Our reporters confirmed this when calls placed to some members of the #iChooseJM Organisers demanding for some of the info materials for the Road Show, drew a blank.

None of the Organisers was readily available to talk to the media, but our investigative reporters were left in no doubt that the #iChooseJM team underrated the response from members of the general public some of whom demanded for extra copies of the printed flyers and the car stickers, which was contrary to the expectations of the Organisers.

Listening to an interview that Mr. Cephas Boyuo granted Accra-based Radio Gold, earlier in the morning, the Organisers had printed thousands of Car Stickers and Flyers containing some of the achievements of President John Dramani Mahama. So, for the Organisers to run short of supplies intrigued our Roving Reporter who then probed further.
Close observers when told of the reason that led to the immediate halt of the Road Show were not enthused that the Organisers did not put more resources into the printing.

From all indications, the campaign materials and message of the #iChooseJM Campaign is very strong and powerful, becoming a charge call by many youthful NDC supporters, however the non availability of such info materials will not enable the full impact of the well funded campaign be realised.

When our reporter at the stadium covering the Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoka match accosted one of the #iChooseJM Organisers, Mr. Felix Boafo, under the pretense of being an enthusiast, and inquired of the info materials, Mr. Boafo claimed that the Organisers were working according to plan and that they were printing more of the materials.
Our reporters are however aware that the Organisers of #iChooseJM left the Accra Sports Stadium together with other #iChooseJM Campaigners numbering over 60 without a single printed Campaign material.

“I could hear some people speaking in Ga, demanding for more of the flyers, which the Organisers didn’t have, so were finding excuses for those people”, our Sports journalist reported.

The Organisers of #iChooseJM are said to have also failed to distribute #iChooseJM branded wristbands, which many close observers were in high expectation of.
