The founder and general overseer of the Parliament Chapel International, Apostle Francis Amoako Attah has praised government for its unwavering commitment to build a National Cathedral for the Christendom.
He believes it is a good decision which deserves full endorsement by the Ghanaian populace especially the Christian community.
He thus admonished people from describing it as a misplaced priority.
According to him, it is a prophetic calling on President Akufo-Addo to ensure its construction and its geographical location which has generated some controversy.
Before Ghana became a country, God had already prearranged the much talked about place to be used for His project and must not be challenged by anyone, Apostle Amoako Attah warned.
The man of God disclosed this in an interview with Onua FM and called on the judges who have been relocated to pave way for the construction of the cathedral to count it a blessing for their residences to be demolished.
Apostle Francis Amoako Attah argued that Ghana is not the first country in the world to construct a National Cathedral hence his call on religious leaders, politicians and the general public to compassionately embrace the decision of the government.
He confirmed that the Christian community are ready to raise funds to fully support the vision as stated by government and believes Ghanaians will equally be ready to support the project.
Meanwhile, the government launched a fundraiser on Friday, December 28, to raise funds for the construction of the National Cathedral.
The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in his own capacity made a donation of GH?100,000 to support the cause.
