Kasoa (C/R), July 14, GNA - The Onua Do Kuw, a benevolent society at Kasoa on Friday presented 60 bed sheets and 10 student-mattress costing 700 GH Cedis or 7 million Cedis to the Kasoa Health Centre. Mr. Daniel Dwumah, Vice-Chairman of the Society, making the presentation expressed the hope that the items would be used for the purpose they were given and encourage the workers to give-off their best.
Mr. George Asante, Medical Assistant in-charge of the Centre, thanked members of the Society for the gesture and appealed to other organisations and philanthropies to emulate them. In another development the Management of JUCAD Pharmacy at Kasoa has also presented a 20-inch television set and a Digital Video Disc (DVD) player worth 500 GH Cedis or 5 million Cedis to the Centre. Mr. Asamoah Darko, Managing Director of the Pharmacy, speaking at the presentation said it was donated for patients while waiting to see Medical Officers.
Mr. Asante thanked the Director for the items and promised that they would be handled properly to prolong their life span. 14 July 07
