A Special Aide to President John Dramani Mahama, Joyce Bawah Mogtari, has expressed satisfaction with the recent ministerial nominations.
In a post shared on her X page on Thursday, January 16, 2025, she described the appointments as exemplary, noting that the National Democratic Congress (NDC)-led government aligns with the vision Ghanaians hoped for, describing the nominations as solid.
"This is the kind of new government we imagined, and this is exactly what we are all expecting. Excellent nominees. We now have a President who has a strong mandate and means to achieve real meaningful change.
"Solid appointments so far. Thank you, President JD Mahama," she noted.
On Wednesday, January 15, 2025, Mahama submitted the names of 12 nominees to Parliament for consideration and vetting by the Appointments Committee.
