Some Special Voters To Join Friday Voting

Some security officers who were to cast their votes ahead of Friday’s general elections as special voters are to join the main voting process on Friday as many of them were turned away because their names were not found in the voters register.

According to the Joy Fm 12 pm major news bulletin, some security officers in the Brong Ahafo, Ashante, Volta and Central region have been asked by the Electoral Commission (EC) to come back and join the main voting process on Friday.

Some of the officers who spoke to joy fm correspondents indicated that some of them went on peacekeeping and therefore could not take part in the major biometric registration process.

According to some of them, the EC will make special transport arrangement for them to enable them get to their assigned stations to discharge their duties on Friday.
