Some around Akufo-Addo should be quarantined - Baako

The Managing Editor of the 'New Crusading Guide' newspaper, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako Jnr has described as unfounded and malicious allegation that the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo was once a drug baron.

Reports being circulated on social media and other media outlets indicate that Nana Akufo-Addo was some time ago, arrested at Heathrow Airport on drug-related offences.

The allegation according to reports, is from a woman alleged to be a very strong NPP woman, a lawyer by profession and based in London, United Kingdom.

The woman, Dede Djaba has allegedly dared Nana Akufo-Addo to deny the allegations, adding “Nana was a good friend; I worked for him, believed in him until I got closer and found out what I do know today”.

But speaking on Wednesday’s edition of ‘Kokrokoo’, Kweku Baako described those rumours as ‘lies’ and asked those rumour peddlers to come up with new ‘lies’.

“Lies, lies, and lies…and some are supposed to be coming from so called NPP people who are living outside the country. It was even used in the primaries… but they have been proven to be lies and they are still using them… I don’t understand. Look for new lies… that is a reflection of their chronic ineptitude… Some of the people around Nana should either shut up or shut down… in fact they should be quarantined,” he added.
