‘Something is wrong’ with Nduom - Kofi Adams

National Organizer of National Democratic Congress (NDC) Mr. Kofi Adams has hit back at flagbearer for the Progressive Peoples Party (PPP) Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom that the party jubilated over the death of President John Evans Atta Mills.

“There is something fundamentally and intellectually wrong with Dr Ndwon to go out there and be saying some of these things he is reported to have. How on earth will you be happy over someone’s death”, he quizzed.

He indicates that the statement made by President Mahama during his tour of the Central Region has been misconstrued by the PPP torch.

“President Mahama only said the late Professor Mills was embarking on very good projects for the region and therefore urged the people of the region to vote for him in order to continue with the good works”

According to him on Abusua Nkomo hosted by Kwame Adinkra, Dr Nduom should know better and outlive that kind of politics.

It would be recalled that Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom during his tour of the Central Region, accused members of the ruling NDC of rejoicing at the demise of the late President John Mills.

According to him, although some NDC members pretend to be hurt by his death, many of their leaders believe that his death paved way for them to retain the presidency in the 2012 elections.

He said the NDC is not genuine about their promises to Ghanaians.

“Mills was our kinsman and he became the president. Some people criticized and attacked him until till he died. And some of the NDC people themselves, thanked God that Mills died, is that not strange? And after his death they came back here to tell us to replace him with another person from the Central region. After all that they go about provoking us that if Mills had not died, the NDC wouldn’t be in government today….It appears as though they deliberately pushed him to the seat so they can commit the wrongs behind him,” he said.
