Space Fm does it again

Days after been able to solicit financial support for little Anthony to undergo an operation to remove cancer in the eye, the Management of Sunyani-based Radio-Station, Space 87.7 Fm, has on behalf of Michael Dampare, a 21 year-old Ghanaian living in Canada, presented a cash of $100 Canadian to the Management of Royale Child Orphanage, based at Nkoranza in the Brong Ahafo Region. The money is to be used for the upkeep of three-week old baby boy, by name Kwaku, whose mother died soon after delivery at the St. Theresa?s Hospital in Nkoranza.

In addition to the cash, Mr. Dampare, a student of Douglas College in Canada has pledged to remit little Kwaku on a monthly basis until he grows to become independent person. He read about the little boy?s plight on Space Fm?s website www.myspacefm.com

Mr.Karikari Bediako-Poku, Director of the Orphanage who received the cash thanked Mr.Dampare for his benevolence, citing that what makes the offer so special is Mr.Dampare?s age (21).He also thanked Space Fm for doing so much for the people of Brong Ahafo Region, through its ever-popular website .According to Mr.Bediako, he sometimes finds it difficult to believe the exploits of Space Fm even though the Station has been in the system for less than a year. He urged the Management of the Station and other philanthropists to continue continue to support the Orphanage in diverse ways.

A Director of Space Fm, who presented the cash on behalf the Station expressed gratitude to Mr.Michael Dampare for his kind gesture and urged visitors to www.myspacefm.com to continue to support their philanthropic works so as to bring joy to the poor.
