Accra, Aug 30, GNA - Madam Olga Carbaga, Spanish Ambassador to Ghana on Monday promised to roll out a vibrant economic partnership to improve on the bilateral relationship between the two countries.
"Ghana is a reliable partner in Africa, we admire your country, we admire your democracy, stability and security and we will explore all possibilities to invest immensely in Ghana."
Madam Carbaga announced this when she called on Vice President John Dramani Mahama to officially introduce herself and to outline her government's commitment to Ghana.
She said last year, Spain opened an economic office in Ghana to deepen her relationship in so many sectors of the economy.
The Spanish Ambassador expressed confidence in the democratic credentials of the country and called on Ghana Government to collaborate effectively to achieve mutual benefits for the two countries.
Vice President Mahama commended the Spanish Government for supporting Ghana to build a number of steel bridges in rural communities in the country, which he said had enhanced the free movement of people and goods in those remote areas.
He promised to work closely with Spain and other countries in the coming years to achieve the country's desired economic objectives.
"We treasure the relationship between Ghana and Spain and we hope to this time foster better relationship in the coming years," he said.
