Chairman of the National Democratic Congress for Krowor Constituency, Reverend Daniel Benjamin Danso, has expressed concern over the severe hardships Ghanaians are enduring under the Akufo-Addo-Bawumia government.

He emphasised that every Ghanaian should benefit from the national resources, not just a select few.

Speaking to GhanaWeb's Ernestina Serwaa Asante during the Special Voting on Monday, December 2, 2024, Reverend Danso noted that the voting process has been smooth, with electorates casting their ballots without any hindrance.

"So far, so good. The body language of the people speaks to the suffering Ghanaians are experiencing. The struggle is real. Ghanaians are suffering, everybody is suffering. Ghana needs a reset, and the reset begins today," he said.

"The process has been peaceful so far. By the time the ballots are counted, the will of the people will be respected. The national cake is a national cake, and every Ghanaian must benefit," he told GhanaWeb's Ernestina Serwaa Asante.

Meanwhile, the Nungua Police Station has two polling centres - A and B - each expecting 503 people to cast their ballots.

This information was provided by the Deputy Returning Officer of Krowor Constituency, Justice Nii Otto Lartey, in an interview with GhanaWeb TV.

He urged Ghanaians to go out in their numbers to exercise their franchise by voting for their preferred presidential and parliamentary candidates.

Lartey also encouraged them to remain peaceful and avoid any inappropriate behaviour at the polling centres.
